1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents to make payment of the undisputed claim of the petitioner towards the work of renovation of Pre- Metric S.T. Boys Hostel Sargbundiya, Kartala, District Korba, C.G. pursuance to the work order dated 31/03/2021, issued by the Assistant Commissioner, Office of the Collector, Tribal Development, Korba.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the total contract amount of Rs. 19,34,280/- awarded to the petitioner for the work of renovation of Pre-Metric S.T. Boys Hostel Sargbundiya, Kartala, District Korba, C.G. pursuance to the work order dated 31/03/2021 issued by the Assistant Commissioner. He submits that the petitioner completed the said work within the time frame, however, the payment towards the work allotted to the petitioner has not been released till date. Learned counsel for the petitioner by referring page 30 of
3 the writ petition, which is a notesheet of the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, submits that out of Rs.19,34,280/-, the Assistant Commissioner himself has accepted the fact that an amount of Rs.11,25,676/- is the undisputed amount which is to be released to the petitioner. However, in spite of the said acceptance, the amount claimed by the petitioner in his total bill is not being released by the respondents.
3. Learned counsel for the State would submit that though it appears from the notesheet of the Assistant Commissioner in page 30 of the writ petition that an amount of Rs. Rs.11,25,676/- is due towards the work done by the petitioner however, the respondent/Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development, Korba will verify the claim lodged by the petitioner and if the amount as stated by the petitioner is undisputed, the same shall be released within a stipulated period.
4. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the notesheet of the Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development, Korba.

In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the respondent/State, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development, Korba to verify and examine the claim lodged by the petitioner and if it is found that the claim of the petitioner is
4 not in dispute, the same shall be released within a period of 65 days.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is
disposed of. SD/-
