This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is seeking a direction upon respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Prayagraj to expedite the hearing of Case No.2100 of 2024 (SMFG India Home Finance Company Ltd. v. Mr. Brijesh Ranjan Srivastava and others) filed under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 and decide the same within the time, framed by this Court. 3. Upon a perusal of the record, it appears that the hearing of the aforesaid suit has been delayed inordinately and the progress has been tardy. Accordingly, the respondent No.2 is directed to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same expeditiously, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 4. It is made clear that the court concerned will not grant any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties and if it is granted, the court concerned should impose costs for the same. 5.
