ORDER:
Aggrieved by the non-payment of bill amounts to the petitioner for the works executed under various agreements under MGNREGS scheme, the present writ petition is filed.
2. Heard Ms.Shaik Shahedaz,
learned counsel representing Sri G.Arun Showri, learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt Naga Chandrika, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj for the respondents.
3. On 02.12.2025, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj submitted that as against the claim made by the petitioner

to a tune of Rs.7,51,003/-, after making necessary deductions, an amounts of Rs.2,10,698/- is payable to the petitioner. To the said submission, learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to get instructions from the petitioner in that regard.
4. Today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as there is dispute with regard to the amount, a liberty may be given to the petitioner to avail other remedies and prayed to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents to pay the admitted amount.
5. Taking the submissions of the learned counsel into consideration, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition by passing the following order:
“The respondent authorities are directed pay the admitted amount to a tune of Rs.2,10,698/- to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible within a period of eight (08) weeks. However, insofar as, the disputed amounts are concerned, the petitioner is at liberty to approach appropriate forum in accordance with law.”
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no
order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. _____________________________
