None appears for the petitioner on call. On 13.05.2025, Mr. Z. Khalid, learned counsel for the respondent, had submitted that the leading counsel, Mr. A. Khaleque, had expired and therefore he required some time to go through the records and, accordingly, the matter was adjourned for 4 (four) weeks. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appears for either of the parties. Considering that the matter pertains to the year 2015 and it appears that the parties are not interested to pursue the same, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
