This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief:

“to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not extending the time scale to the petitioners as Sweepers in the Last Grade Service of the 5th respondent institution as illegal arbitrary improper unjust violative of Article 14 19 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to extend the time scale as Sweepers in the 5th respondent institution in the Last Grade Service and grant all consequential benefits including the monetary benefits”
2. Apparently, at the time of admission of this Writ Petition, this Court made the following interim order:
“Having regard to the decision of the Supreme Court in the State of Punjab & Others Vs.Jagjit Singh and others, the 5th respondent is directed to pay minimum pay scale to the Last Grade Services employees in the 5th respondent corporation”

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments, and the learned Standing Counsel for respondent No. 5 fairly submitted that the terms of the interim orders are being complied with. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with a liberty to work out legal remedies in accordance with law so far as regularization is concerned. 5. Permission sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners is accorded. 3
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the petitioners are at liberty to work out their legal remedies in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
