Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 2. The petitioner has preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the following prayer :- "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to change the address of the petitioner in Arms Licence being nos.1203/P.S. George Town Revolver/Pistol (UIN-336230011980912015) and 1509/P.S. - George Town SBBL Gun (UIN-336231000092122017) within the stipulated time." 3. The facts in brief as contained in the writ petition are that petitioner has two arms licence namely Licence nos.1203/P.S. George Town Revolver/Pistol (UIN-336230011980912015) (2) license No.1509/P.S. - George Town SBBL Gun (UIN- 336231000092122017). When the aforesaid licenses were granted in favour of the petitioner, he was residing at 389, Bagambari East, Allahpur, District Prayagraj. However, on 17.05.2018 petitioner sold the aforesaid house and purchased the Flat No.F-601, 5th Floor, Golden Height Apartment, Chaufatka, G.T. Road, P.S. Dhoomanganj, District-Prayagraj on 03.07.2018. The proof in respect of new residential address of the petitioner is appended as annexure-2 to the writ petition. 4. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that in order to change the permanent address in the armed license of the petitioner, he has submitted an affidavit on 07.11.2019 before the Additional District Magistrate/O.C. Arms, District Prayagraj. Along-with the said affidavit petitioner has also annexed the photocopies of the arms license, residence certificate, aadhar card and pan card. Similarly in order to change the permanent address in Arms License No.1203/P.S. George Town Revolver/Pistol (UIN- 336230011980912015) and 1509/P.S. - George Town SBBL Gun (UIN-336231000092122017) an application was submitted on 07.11.2019 to the Additional District Magistrate/O.C. Arms District Prayagraj. It is further argued that as per procedure prescribed in The Arms Act, 1959/The Arms Rules, 2016 the petitioner has also submitted the two set of photocopies of the aforesaid affidavit along-with documents. The District Magistrate, Prayagraj has also written a letter dated 27.11.2019 to the S.S.P., Prayagraj for the submission of report with regard to the address of the petitioner within a week. In this view of the matter, it is argued that respondent no.2 be directed to take a decision in respect of change of address of the petitioner in Arms Licence being nos.1203/P.S. George Town Revolver/Pistol (UIN- 336230011980912015) and 1509/P.S. - George Town SBBL Gun (UIN-336231000092122017) expeditiously. 5. On the other hand it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that respondent no.2 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 6. In the facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh representation in this regard annexing all the relevant papers and documents before the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Prayagraj along-with certified copy of this order within a period of three weeks from today. If such a representation is made, the respondent no.2 is directed to pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law expeditiously and positively within a further period of four weeks. 7.
