GP FOR HOME 4 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 20588 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents 2 to 5 especially respondent No.5 in not registering the FIR against the Respondent Nos.6 to 17 on the Report dt. 28.05.2025 given by the petitioner as, illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and also violation of principles of natural justice and also violation of Article 14, 19 and Art. 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent No. 5 to register the FIR basing on the report of the petitioner dt. 28.05.2025 and take appropriate action against the Respondent Nos.6 to 17 in accordance with law.…” 2. Heard Sri Gowri Sankar Cheekatla, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, for the official respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police are not registering the FIR against the unofficial respondents on the report given by the petitioner. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that basing on the complaint/report of the petitioner, a case in Cr.No.111 of 2025 under Sections 127(2), 115(2), 351(3) r/w 3(5) of BNS of Palakol Town Police Station, was registered on 08.08.2025 at 06.30 PM and the same was informed to the complainant. 5 5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
