IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 1497 of 2025 ------- Dilip Singh, aged 27 years, son of Nakul Singh, resident of village Kudag, P.O. Demu, P.S. Latehar, District Latehar. …... …. Petitioner(s) Versus The State of Jharkhand .…. …. Opp. Party -------- CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH -------- For the Petitioner(s) : None For the State : None -------- 02/ Dated 20.02.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No. 89 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No.622 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 386, 387 & 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of the CLA Act, pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Latehar. On 18.05.2024, rangdari was demanded from the informant, who is owner of a brick-kiln. From the impugned order, it appears that apart from the fact that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent, there is no other material against him. Similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No.39/2025. Considering the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Latehar, in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No. 89 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No.622 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
