The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kunda P.S. Case No. 12/2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 12/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 8(C), 21, 22, 25, 27(A), 28, 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Principal District Judge-cum- Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Chatra. 3. On 22.03.2024, Kunda Police raided the house of the petitioner and on search, 798 grams of brown sugar was recovered from there. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner does not reside at the place from where the brown sugar was recovered. It was further submitted that the petitioner has surrendered after six months from the date of occurrence. 5. Considering the fact that the commercial quantity of brown sugar was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
