Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel. 3. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief: "(A) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 to decide the claim of petitioner in respect of benefits of annual increment as well as the payment of arrears of salary increments as well as the payment of arrears of salary increments and other benefits of services as admissible by law since July, 2022 up to till date." 4. It is submitted that in the above regard petitioner has already approached the authority by making the representation on 14.10.2024 copy whereof has been brought on record as annexure No. 5 to this petition. 5. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner may be directed to make fresh representation before the competent authority namely the respondent No. 2 which may further be directed to be disposed of in accordance with law. 6. In the given facts and circumstances this petition stands disposed of with direction to the petitioner to move fresh representation in this regard before the respondent No. 2 within a period of four weeks from today and in the event any such representation is made the respondent No. 2 is directed to consider and dispose of the same strictly in accordance with law within a further period of two months by means of a reasoned and speaking order.
