HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU Case No. CPSW No. 547/2014 in APSWP No. 31/2014 Pritam Singh …..Appellant(s)/Petitioner(s) Through: Ms. Surbhi Kotwal, Advocate q vs Ravinder K.R Sharma .…. Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Priyanka Bhat, Advocate vice Mrs. Monika Kohli, Sr. AAG Coram: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE JAVED IQBAL WANI, JUDGE ORDER 14.05.2025 In the instant contempt petition, the petitioners has alleged non-compliance of order dated 16.05.2014 passed in SWP No. 1185/2014, in terms whereof, the respondents came to be directed to consider the petitioner’s claim in the light of orders passed in identical cases bearing SWP No. 786/2009 and LPA (SW) No. 224/2012, provided the same are covered with the same circumstances as the case in hand and pass consideration order strictly as per rules within a period of two months. Status report has been filed by the respondents accompanied with a consideration order 12.12.2014, wherein it is being stated that the case of the petitioner stands considered and rejected having being found devoid of merit. In view of the above, the respondents, seemingly, have complied with the order, necessitating the closure of the contempt proceedings. Ordered accordingly. The petitioner, however, shall be at liberty to avail remedy available under law against the consideration order, if so advised. (Javed Iqbal Wani) Judge Jammu 14.05.2025 Rahul Sharma S. No. 53
