Through the instant petition filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (For short “BNSS”), the petitioners seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.105 dated 12.04.2025 under Sections 333, 115(2), 118, 351(2), 191(3), 190 and 61(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (Section 18(2) of the Act added later on), registered at Police Station Kharar, District SAS Nagar. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned State counsel submits that offence under Sections 118(2) of BNS, 2023 has been added during the course of investigation and request has been made to add this offence in the head note of the petition. 3. Vide order dated 16.05.2025, passed by this Court, the petitioners were released on interim bail and were directed to join investigation. 6. Learned State counsel has submitted that the petitioners have joined investigation on 22.05.2025 and 20.05.2025 respectively and they are not required for custodial interrogation. 7. Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 16.05.2025, granting interim bail to the petitioners, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
