The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of an appropriate order or direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 to 7 and take action on their representation dated 03.05.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has recently filed a representation on 03.05.2025 before the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana (Annexure P-2) raising her grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereon. He further submitted that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioner and take necessary action thereon.
