The case in between the Petitioner and the Respondent No.1 has been compromised as the Petitioner has paid an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- to Respondent No.1 towards full and final settlement of the litigation. In view of the compromise affected in between the Petitioner and the Respondent No.1 the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of as compromised. Resultantly, the Petitioner is acquitted under Section 320(8) of ‘the Cr.P.C.,’ by giving permission to the Petitioner to compromise the offence with the Respondent No.1 under Section 147 of ‘the N.I.Act.,’ read with 320 (6) of the ‘Cr.P.C’. 3. Accordingly, the I.A.No.3 of 2025 is allowed, and the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of as compromised by compounding the offence. Consequently, the conviction and sentence passed by the learned Special Magistrate, Gannavaram in C.C.No.10 of 2020, dated 27.07.2022, as confirmed in Criminal Appeal No.137 of 2022, dated 14.09.2025, by the learned VIII Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-V Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Vijayawada, are set aside, as a result, the Petitioner is acquitted. 4. In view of the judgment of the Hon’ble Apex Court in Sanjabij Tari v. Kishore S. Borcar1 that a case may be compromised at the High Court level in revision upon payment of 7.5% of the cheque amount to the Legal Services 1 Criminal Appeal No.1755 of 2010 3 Authority, and considering that the required costs have been paid, the Criminal Revision Case is accordingly disposed of as compromised.
