GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: 2 “.... to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly, one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondent No. 2 to 4, more particularly, the Respondent No. 4, in not initiating the legal proceedings and in not registering the Crime / FIR against the Respondents No.5 to 7 herein, in spite of written complaint made by the petitioner dated 10-11- 2025 under proper acknowledgements, for illegally, high handedly, unlawfully, trespassing into the petitioners agricultural land, and damaging the entire three months old standing crop of cotton and red chilli by an unnumbered tractor, in Sy.No. 191, in an extent of Ac. 2-90 Cents, situated at Nowlekal Village, Peddakadabur Mandal, Kurnool District, as illegal, arbitrary, capricious, and contrary to the provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhitha, 2023, and consequently direct the 4th respondent to register the FIR against the Respondents No. 5 to 7 in terms of the complaint of the petitioner dated 10-11-2025 for causing damage to the three months old ripened standing crop of cotton and chilly, raised in the petitioners land” 2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the police have not registered ay crime basing on the complaint made by the petitioner since the subject matter is purely civil in nature. 4. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedies before the appropriate forum in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
