GP FOR IRRI AND CAD The Court made the following: 2 THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY W.P.No.32258 of 2025 O R DE R: The Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the inaction of the Respondents in fixing the new Pay Sacles of 1050-1945 in the cadre of Work Inspectors with Diploma Qualification, as illegal and arbitrary and to consequently direct the Respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioners dated 19.09.2024, 18-10-2024 and 27.01.2024 by fixing the Pay Scales of Rs.1050- 1945 in the cadre of Work Inspectors with Diploma Qualification and pay all the consequential benefits. 2. During the course of hearing, the learned counsel for the Petitioner placed reliance on the Order dated 17.10.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.No.16082 of 2019, wherein the Respondents therein were directed to consider the representation made by the Petitioners for fixing pay scales of 1050-1945. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners also made representations on 19.09.2024, 18.10.2024, and 27.01.2024, for fixation of the new pay scales of 1050-1945 in the cadre of work inspectors; however, the representations were not being considered. 3 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the representations of the Petitioners would be examined and appropriate decision will be taken in terms of the Order passed in W.P.No.16082 of 2019. 5. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed with the following directions: i) The Respondent Authorities are directed to examine the representations of the Petitioners dated 19.09.2024, 18-10-2024 and 27.01.2024 in terms of the Orders passed in W.P.No.16082 of 2019 and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. ii) There shall be no order as to costs.
