REPRESENTED BY ITS MEMBER SECRETARY. ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more in the nature of Writ of MANDAMUS declaring the Public Notice to Colleges displayed on Third Respondent Official Website in apsche.org in respect of Zero Admissions in APEAPCET-2024 as illegal, irregular, arbitrary, unconstitutional without jurisdiction, unjustified, unreasonable and violative of Articles 14, 15, 19(1)(g), 21 and 21A of the Constitution of India and consequently set-aside the same by directing the Respondents to strictly follow the A.P. Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission of Engineering/ Pharmacy Diploma Holders into Under Graduate Professional Courses through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2006 as amended by G.O.Ms.No. 43, Higher Education (E.C) Department, dated 11-12-2020 for admissions under APECET-2025 in so far as the Petitioner Institution/College is concerned. K RADHIKA 3 The Court made the following Order: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayer; “….to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more in the nature of Writ of MANDAMUS declaring the Public Notice to Colleges displayed on Third Respondent Official Website in apsche.org in respect of Zero Admissions in APEAPCET-2024 as illegal, irregular, arbitrary, unconstitutional without jurisdiction, unjustified, unreasonable and violative of Articles 14, 15, 19(1)(g), 21 and 21A of the Constitution of India and consequently set-aside the same by directing the Respondents to strictly follow the A.P. Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission of Engineering/ Pharmacy Diploma Holders into Under Graduate Professional Courses through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2006 as amended by G.O.Ms.No.43, Higher Education (E.C) Department, dated 11-12-2020 for admissions under APECET-2025 in so far as the Petitioner Institution/College is concerned and pass such other order or orders as this court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. ” 2. Sri Rambabu Koppineedi, learned counsel for petitioner submits that cause in the Writ Petition does not survive and the matter has become infructuous. 3. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. 4 4.
