GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE D.RAMESH WRIT PETITION No.30621 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking the following relief: “…..to issue an order, writ or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent herein in not mutating the name of the petitioner by not considering the representation dated 25.11.2024 in respect of land measuring an extent of Ac. 1.20 cents in Sy No 364/6B situated at Pemmadapalli Village, Rayachoty Mandal, Annamayya District as arbitrary, illegal, unconstitutional, unjust and contrary to provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Book Act, 1971 and the rules made thereunder and consequently direct the 4th respondent to mutate the name of petitioner in all the revenue records and issue pattadar passbooks and title deeds in her favour….” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 3. In view of the averments made in paragraph No.5 of the affidavit that despite the petitioner trying to file a Form 6-A 4 application for mutation of her name in revenue records through web portal, the same is not accepting. Hence, the petitioner has submitted a representation/application on 25.11.2024 seeking for mutation of her name in revenue records by granting pattadar passbook-cum-title deed in respect of the subject land. However, no action has been taken so far. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has stated that as per the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, the authorities will consider the representation/application submitted by the petitioner and they will pass appropriate orders after giving notice to the concerned persons. 5. Considering the above submissions made by both the learned counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the respondents especially 4th respondent to consider the representation/application submitted by the petitioner on 25.11.2024 as per the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of 5 two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
