This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India and prayed for the following reliefs:- “10.1 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of the petitioners. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ/order/direction and direct respondent No.5 to decide the representation dated 18.02.2019 in view of the policy/guideline/instruction of the State Government. 10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ/order/direction and direct the respondent authorities to grant compassionate appointment to the family member of the deceased Constable and provide free education to the brothers/sisters of the deceased Constable as per the policy of the State Government dated 10.10.2014. 10.4 Any other relief/reliefs which the Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also kindly be granted.” 3 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation, which was filed on 18.02.2019, is already pending consideration before the authorities, therefore, he prays that this Petition may be disposed of with a direction to the concerned authority to decide the said representation expeditiously within a stipulated time frame. 3. Learned counsel for the other side would not oppose the aforesaid prayer. 4. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and also considering that the petitioner has sought only a limited relief, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the concerned authority to decide the representation of the petitioner, filed on 18.02.2019, in an expeditious manner and in accordance with the applicable rules and guidelines, within an outer limit of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
