CRM-M-35632-2021 (O&M) Date of Decision: 17.07.2025 VARINDER SINGH …Petitioner V/S STATE OF PUNJAB AND ANOTHER
…Respondents CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE HARPREET SINGH BRAR Present: Mr. S.K.Bokolia, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Rishabh Singla, AAG Punjab.
**** HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 61 dated 29.04.2017 registered under Sections 380, 447, 448, 454, 427, 511 of Indian Penal Code at Police Station City South Moga, District Moga. Learned State counsel at the very outset submits that present petition has been rendered infructuous, as during the pendency of present petition, a compromise has been effected between the parties and the petition seeking quashing of FIR(supra) filed on the basis of compromise, has already been allowed by this Court. As such, no cause of action survives in the present petition. In view of the above, present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
