This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the Petitioners for the following relief: “to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ Order or direction declaring the inaction on the part of the respondents No.3 and 4 in considering and disposing of my application dated 05-03-2024 for mutation of the lands Ac.32.37 Cts situated in Sy. Nos. 371, 373,376, and 378 of Ananthapuram Rural village, Ananthapuram Urban Mandal, Ananthapuramu District, in my name, as illegal, arbitrary and unjust and for a consequential direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider my application for mutation of the lands Ac.32.37 Cts situated in Sy. Nos. 371, 373, 376, and 378 of Ananthapuram Rural village, Ananthapuram Urban Mandal forthwith and to pass…” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. The present Writ Petition is filed, aggrieved by the inaction on the part of respondents 3 and 4 in considering and disposing of the petitioner’s application dated 05.03.2024 seeking mutation of land admeasuring Ac. 32.37 cents situated in Sy. Nos. 371, 373, 376, and 378 of Ananthapuram Rural Village, Ananthapuram Urban Mandal, Ananthapuramu District. ::3:: 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, pursuant to the application filed by the petitioner, the 4th respondent/Tahsildar issued a notice dated 23.12.2024 directing the petitioner to appear before his office with all relevant documents pertaining to the subject property. In compliance with the said notice, the petitioner appeared before the 4th respondent’s office and produced all necessary documents. However, despite the lapse of nearly ten (10) months, the respondent authorities have neither considered the petitioner’s application nor passed any orders thereon. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 5. In response, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, upon instructions, states that the matter is still under examination by the competent authorities and that the proceedings remain pending consideration. 6. Considering the submissions made by both the learned counsel and on perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of the considered view that the Writ Petition can be disposed of by directing the 4th respondent/Tahsildar to consider the petitioner’s application dated 05.03.2024, strictly in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other stake holders if any. The said exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably ::4:: within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
