The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Hazaribag Muffasil P.S. Case No. 211 of 2023, for the offence registered under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribag. On 23.06.2023, the brother of the informant Avinash Kumar has committed suicide by hanging. It is alleged that both the petitioner and the deceased were in the same office and the petitioner used to blackmail the deceased. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is nothing to show that the petitioner actually abated the deceased to commit suicide and petitioner is a lady. Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that due to blackmailing by the petitioner, the deceased had committed suicide. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the petitioner is a lady, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribag, in connection with Hazaribag Muffasil P.S.
