Petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon’ble court may kindly be pleased to call the records pertaining to the case from the respondent authorities. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, thereby directing the respondent no. 3 to correct/amend the award in respect of acquired land Khasra No. 60 and include the name of petitioner at serial no. 46 in respect of land khasra No. 60 in place of respondents no. 6 to 8 & other land owners mentioned at serial no. 46. 10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent no. 3 to release the assessed compensation in favour of petitioner in respect of land bearing Khasra No. 60 within stipulated time.” 2. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner has already submitted a representation before respondent no. 3/competent authority, therefore, direction be issued to respondent no. 3 to take decision on pending representation for consideration at the earliest. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that as petitioner is not pressing on the merits of this writ petition and is only seeking direction to concerned authority i.e. respondent no. 3 to take decision on pending 3 representation, he is having no objection to the limited prayer. He submits that representation will be considered in accordance with law. 4. Heard learned counsel for respective parties and also perused the documents enclosed along with this writ petition. 5. In the aforementioned facts of the case, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, directing respondent no. 3 to take decision on pending representation, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the claim of petitioner. 7. With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
