This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the Petitioners for the following relief: “to issue writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent no.4 in mutating the name of the petitioners in the revenue records/online web adangal with respect to the land in sy. No. 845-2 to an extent of Ac. 2.66 cents in sy.no. 845-3 to an extent of Ac. 2.66 cents in sy.no. 847-3 to an extent of Ac. 2-87 cents in sy.no. 393-14 to an extent of Ac. 2.37 cents in sy.no. 855-3 to an extent of Ac. 2.56 cents in sy.no. 857-4 to an extent of Ac. 0.87 cents and in sy.no. 859-1 to an extent of Ac. 1.65 cents in sy.no. 863-3 to an extent of Ac. 2.54 cents in sy.no. 850-5 to an extent of Ac. 2.26 cents of Pedagogulapalli village, Chandrasekharapuram Mandal, Prakasam District, respectively as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and in violation of principles of natural justice, article 14, 21, 300- A of Indian constitution and consequently direct respondent no.4 to mutate the name of the petitioners in the revenue records/online web adangal with respect to the in sy. No. 845-2 to an extent of Ac. 2.66 cents in sy.no. 845-3 to an extent of Ac. 2.66 cents in sy.no. 847-3 to an extent of Ac. 2-87 cents in sy.no. 393-14 to an extent of Ac. 2.37 cents in sy.no. 855-3 to an extent of Ac. 2.56 cents in sy.no. 857-4 to an extent of Ac. 0.87 cents and in sy.no. 859-1 to an extent of Ac. 1.65 cents in sy.no. 863-3 to an extent of Ac. 2.54 cents in sy.no. 850-5 to an extent of Ac. 2.26 cents of Pedagogulapalli village, Chandrasekharapuram Mandal, Prakasam District respectively and to pass…” ::4:: 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners made an application through the PGRS portal and also submitted a representation dated 25.08.2025 to the respondent authorities seeking mutation of their names in the revenue records in respect of the land in Sy.No.845/2 to an extent of Ac.2.66 cents, Sy.No.845/3 to an extent of Ac.2.66 cents, Sy.No.847/3 to an extent of Ac.2.87 cents, Sy.No.393/14 to an extent of Ac.2.37 cents, Sy.No.855/3 to an extent of Ac.2.56 cents, Sy.No.857/4 to an extent of Ac.0.87 cents, Sy.No.859/1 to an extent of Ac.1.65 cents, Sy.No.863/3 to an extent of Ac.2.54 cents, and Sy.No.850/5 to an extent of Ac.2.26 cents of Pedagogulapalli Village, Chandrasekharapuram Mandal, Prakasam District. It is contended that, despite receipt of the said representation, the respondent authorities have neither considered the request nor issued any proceedings till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 4. On the other hand, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for the respondents, submits that if the petitioner submits a fresh representation in Form-6A, the respondent authorities will consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with the law. ::5:: 5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents, and upon perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of the considered opinion that the present Writ Petition can be disposed of by directing the petitioners to submit an application in Form No.6A seeking for mutation of their names in the revenue records in respect of the subject property, within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said representation/application in Form-6A, the respondent authorities shall consider the same and, after issuing notice to the petitioners, other legal heirs if any, and all other stakeholders, including those claiming rights by way of tenancy, encroachment, or occupation, shall conduct a detailed enquiry. Thereafter, the respondents shall pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of three (03) months. 6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, interlocutory applications if any pending, shall stand closed. ________________________ JUSTICE D.
