GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent Nos.3 to 5 for not conducting their duties as per the Rule 7 of SCs and STs (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules, 1995, which is clearly warrants the Investigation Officer to complete the investigation on top priority and file the 2 charge sheet within a period of 60 days and also the action of the Respondent No.4 in not cooperating with the Petitioner for completion of investigation, which is illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and also against the Rule 7 of SCs and STs (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules, 1995,and consequently, direct the Respondent No.3 to complete the Investigation and file the Chargesheet by changing the Investigation Officer in Cr.No.169/2021, dated. 20/06/2021 of Nandavaram Police Station, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh and also punish the Respondent Nos.3 and 4 for not conducting their duties as per Section 4 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and also against Section 217 of IPC.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that, after due investigation in Crime No.169 of 2021 on the file of Nandavaram Police Station, Kurnool District, the Police referred the same as ‘false’. 3. Sri Y.Balaji, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedies before appropriate forum in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
