The present set of petitions the details of which are mentioned in the heading are being disposed of by the common order. 2. In the present petitions, the grievance being raised by the petitioners is that the petitioners are not being given the admission in Class XI, though, they have cleared Class X examination with more than 65% marks and the candidate having similar academic record have been granted admission in Class XI and petitions have been discriminated. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that while the petitioners were studying, certain incidents had happened which are highly KUMUD VERMA 2025.05.28 18:13 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh CWP-14041-2025 (O&M) -2- CWP-14042-2025 (O&M) regretted not only by the petitioners but even by their parents. Learned counsel further submits that an affidavit will be submitted by the petitioners as well as by their parents that if petitioners are granted admission in Class XI in the respondent-School, they will abide by the discipline envisaged by each student to be observed while studying in the said School. She further submits that in case of any violation of the said affidavit/undertaking, the school is free to take appropriate disciplinary action as required under the circumstances. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent upon getting the instructions submits that though, certain acts which were committed by the students and their parents were not condonable, but keeping in view the fact that the life of the petitioners is at stake, a lenient view is being taken so as to grant them admission in Class XI. He further submits that in case the undertaking/affidavit as being mentioned by the learned counsel for the petitioner is submitted along with the admission form, the school will the consider the same and grant the admission to the students in Class XI, within a period of 07 days, in case the admission form and the affidavit are submitted by tomorrow. Learned counsel submits that in case of violation of undertaking, school will be free to take applicable disciplinary action. 5. Learned counsel for the respondent submits while the children were studying earlier, there was a delay in the depositing of fees, which should not happen in future. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, from the parents who are present in Court today, submits that there will be no delay in depositing the fee as required to be deposited by the students who are studying in Class XI, which fact will be mentioned in the undertaking itself. 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned counsel for the respondents, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 8.
