Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 394/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 317(5), 336(3), 340(2) & 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Gumla. On 20.11.2024, Gumla police, raided the house of this petitioner and seized a stolen motorcycle from there. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody for more than three months. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It was further submitted that charge sheet has been submitted in this case. It was finally submitted that the offence alleged is triable by a Court of Judicial Magistrate. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
