Kirankumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submitted that the present writ petition has been filed assailing the transfer order of the petitioner. The learned counsel, further, submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation and as such, no cause survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. The learned counsel, accordingly, prays for quashing this writ petition as infructuous. Mr. S. Nepolean, learned G.A. appearing for the State respondents, endorsed the submission made by the counsel appearing for the petitioner. In view of the submission made above, the present writ petition is hereby closed as infructuous.
