The present Application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, has been filed with the prayer to quash the charge-sheet dated 29.04.2015, Cognizance Order dated 31.11.2015, passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun and the proceeding of Criminal Case No. 3916 of 2015, State vs. Navjeet Singh and another, under Sections 498-A, 323, 504 and 506 IPC and Section ¾ of the Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun. The applicant no.1 is the husband of respondent no.2 and the applicant no.2 is the cousin brother-in-law of respondent no. 2. 5. Learned counsel for the parties have made statements at Bar that a compromise has been reached between the applicant no.1 and respondent no.2 and in support of the said contention they have enclosed the copy of the compromise. 2025:UHC:8187 6. In view of the statements made by the learned counsel for the parties, that a compromise has been reached between the applicants and the respondent no.2, the charge-sheet dated 29.04.2015, and the cognizance order dated 30.11.2025 as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Misc. Case No. 3916 of 2015, State vs. Navjeet Singh and another, under Sections 498-A, 323, 504 and 506 IPC and Section ¾ of the Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun, are hereby quashed.
