GP FOR REGISTRATION AND STAMPS The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION No.29255 of 2025 ORDER:- The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “…issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondents in continuing the Petitioners land, an extent of Ac.2.50 cts in Sy.No.520/IB of Chodavaram Village, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Dr.B.R.AmbedkarKonaseemaDistrict in the Prohibited List prepared under Section 22A of the Registrations Act, 1908, inspite of the Government Orders vide G.O.Ms.No.501, dt.16.12.2019 and G.O.Ms.No.269, dt. 19.06.2023 issued in favour of the petitioner for deleting the subject land from the purview of the Section 22A of the Registration Act, as illegal, arbitrary, violative of Articles 14, 21 and 300A of the Constitution of India, consequently direct the Respondents 2 to 6 to forthwith cause deletion of the Petitioners land an extent of Ac.2.50 cts in Sy.No.520/1B of Chodavaram Village, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Konaseema District from the prohibited list by splitting the LPM No.2373 and in terms of the Government Orders and pass…” 2. The above writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of respondent No.5 in placing the land to an extent of Ac.2.50 cents in Sy.No.520/B of Chodavaram Village, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema District, under Section 22A (1)(c) of the Registration Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’), despite the issuance of G.O.Ms.No.501, dated 16.12.2019 and G.O.Ms.No.269, dated 19.06.2023. 3. It was asserted in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition is that the petitioner herein made an application in Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) for deletion of subject land from the list of prohibitory property. Thereafter, the Tahsildar sent a proposal for deletion of subject land vide proceedings dated 28.12.2024. Despite a recommendation made by Tahsildar, the subject land was not deleted from the prohibited list. Thus, the petitioner seeks a direction to direct the respondent authorities to delete the subject land from the list of prohibitory property. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader has furnished the instructions dated 24.10.2025 addressed by the Tahsildar and would submit that a detailed enquiry report was submitted to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ramachandrapuram vide letter No.Ref/B/62/2025, recommending deletion of the said land. 5. In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission, directing respondents 3 & 4 to take appropriate action for deletion of land from the prohibitory property list under Section 22A of the Act, pursuant to the inquiry report submitted by the Tahsildar. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
