The petitioner has filed this petition with the following prayer: BABLU RAJENDRA BHANARKAR Digitally signed by BABLU RAJENDRA BHANARKAR 2 “It is, therefore, prayed that the FIR lodged against the applicant namely Hritik Tiwari at Police Station Singodha District Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh, registered as Crime No. 0128/2024 on basis of F.I.R. lodged by one Assistant Sub-Inspector Sri. Laxman Sahu on 10/12/2024 for the offence under section 20 (b) Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (herein after refer as NDPS) Act, may kindly be set-aside/quashed.” 3. Learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the respondent/State has pointed out that the petitioner has come up before this Court with a prayer for quashing of the impugned First Information Report, but against him a charge-sheet has been submitted showing him as an absconder, to which objection, learned counsel for the petitioner states that perusal of the charge-sheet goes to show that the investigation with respect to the present petitioner is still pending, therefore, he is not able to challenge the charge-sheet, but from perusal of the charge-sheet, it goes to show that the charge-sheet has been submitted before the competent Court by the investigating officer against the petitioner showing him as an absconder. 4. It has also been pointed out that bail application of co-accused Ram Ashray @ Ramsare Rajbhar has already been rejected by this Court vide order dated 30.06.2025 in MCRC No.4250 of 2025. 3 5. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to law, if aggrieved by the charge- sheet.
