1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 10.09.2024 passed in MCRC No. 6322 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Gagan Anand Mehr had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of ABHISHEK SHRIVAS Digitally signed by ABHISHEK SHRIVAS Date: 2025.11.12 11:20:12 +0530
2 the order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. The learned Special Judge (N.D.P.S. Act), Durg, District - Durg (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 07.03.2025, requested for and was granted a further period of three months time to conclude the trial vide
order dated 24.03.2025 in CRMP No. 1051 of 2025.
4. The learned Special Judge (N.D.P.S. Act), Durg, District - Durg (C.G.), vide its request letter dated 23.06.2025 again requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial and was granted a further period of three months to conclude the trial vide order dated 09.07.2025 in CRMP No. 2127 of 2025.
5. The learned Special Judge (N.D.P.S. Act), Durg, District - Durg (C.G.), vide its request letter dated 25.10.2025 has again come up before this Court requesting for grant of some more time to conclude the trial stating that the case is fixed for final argument and the prosecution witnesses have already been examined and due to the ill health of the accused’s senior counsel, time is being sought for presentation of final arguments due to which, the case could not be concluded within the time period granted.
6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from today.
7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.

8. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order be sent to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
