This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 4th respondent in the capacity of the 3rdrespondent in involving in civil matters and in summoning the petitioner and detained him in the Police Station for hours together and abusing him in filthy language and threatening him to implicate in false cases without there being any crime against the petitioner is illegal, arbitrary, unjust and unconstitutional and consequently direct

the 4th respondent in the capacity of the 3rd respondent not to involve in civil matters and summon the petitioner and detain him without there being any crime against the petitioner without following due process of law, and pass.”
2. No representation for the petitioner.
3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that basing on the compliant, the petitioner was called to the police station for enquiry, no crime has been registered against him and the police are not interfering in the civil disputes.
4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties and follow due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
