ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
“…to pass an order or direction one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in suspending the petitioner from the post of Lecturer vide Impugned Proceedings in Rc.No.Islo:Spl/Correspondent of Admn.1/19, and Lr.No.109/19-20, dated 15.06.2019 as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction and contrary to the Provisions of Education Act, 1982 and Consequently set-aside the same by directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service as a Lecturer in the 4th respondent College and pass…” (in verbatim)

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, pending the writ petition, the petitioner was appointed to government service in the year 2021 and is working as a Chemistry Lecturer. He submitted a representation to the Special Commissioner, College Education, Vijayawada, on 23.05.2024, seeking regularization of his service during the suspension period, which is still pending consideration.
Learned counsel requested that the writ petition be disposed of with a
4 direction to the concerned authority to consider the petitioner’s representation in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Education.

Considering the above submissions, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petition be closed with a direction to the Special Commissioner, College Education, Vijayawada, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.05.2024 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above observations, the Writ Petition is closed without going into the merits of the allegations. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, interlocutory applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
