1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:-
“The Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to decide the application of the petitioner for grant of regular stage carriage permit on the Bilaspur to Bhopalpattanam and two return trips daily and to grant the same in accordance with the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act. 2 Any other relief which the Hon’ble Court may deems fit and proper may also kindly be granted in favour of the petitioner.”
2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner submitted an an application before the respondent on 15.9.2025 for grant of regular stage carriage permit on the route Bilaspur to Bhopalpattanam via Raipur - Dhamtari - Kanker – Kondagaon – Jagdalpur – Geedam – Bijapur - Meded and two return trips daily, which is still pending consideration, therefore, a direction may be issued to the respondent to consider and decide the same expeditiously.
3. Learned counsel for the State submits that application of the petitioner shall be considered and disposed of as early as possible.
4. Be that as it may, the petitioner had moved application dated
15.09.2025. If it is not being decided till now, the authority is
directed to decide the matter within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
