FLAT NO.201, DBV RAJU ENCLAVE, WALKERS ROAD, ANA VENKATA APPA RAO ROAD, RAJAHMUNDRY, ANDHRA PRADESH 533 106. ...RESPONDENT(S): The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a writ or order, orders or directions more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus I)declaring the action of the 2nd and 3rd respondents in general and 2nd respondents in particular in not renewing B-Form license of the petitioner/lessee 2 pursuant to renewal application dt.27-03-2021 in spite of producing No Objection Certificates (NOCs) of all authorities and also the action of the 3rd respondent in issuing show cause notice dt.21-06- 2021, received on 22-06-2021, calling explanation on why action should not be initiated against the said management as illegal, arbitrary, discriminative, contrary to the provisions of the Cinematograph Act, 1952 and the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1970 besides violative of Arts.14 and 21 of the Constitution of India by calling for the records of the same, and ii)consequently, direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents in general and 2nd respondent in particular to renew B-Form license of the petitioner/lessee within no time duly ignoring the objections raised by the 4th respondent lessor and without reference to his show cause notice dt.21-06-2021, received on 22-06-2021 allowing the lessee to screen the movies forthwith, and pass.” 2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition and the matter has become infructuous. 3. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
