In this matter the writ petitioner has sought for a direction to absolve the petitioner as a Lat Mandal in the Office of the District Commissioner, Dhubri, in the post of regular Mandal lying vacant under the establishment of the District Commissioner, Dhubri. Notice in the matter was issued on 04.04.2014, subsequently rule was issued on 11.09.2014 thereafter the matter has been listed on several dates but no hearing took place. On 27.02.2024, when the matter was listed none had represented the petitioner. Today also none represents the petitioner. Under such circumstances, this Court is constrained to dismiss the present writ petition for non-prosecution. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
