Against the order dated 03.01.2025 passed by the District Level Committee, statutory appeal being Appeal No.80-3/2/2025 (Santosh Kumar and another Vs. Divisional Commissioner, Gorakhpur etc.) was filed by the petitioner before the respondent No.1/Principal Secretary/Chair Person,State Level Caste Scrutiny Committee, Government of U.P. Lucknow in the month of January, 2025. 2. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioners that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 3. On the other hand, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that the respondent No.1 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.1/Principal Secretary/Chair Person,State Level Caste Scrutiny Committee, Government of U.P. Lucknow to decide the aforesaid appeal expeditiously and strictly in accordance with law but after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, unless there is no legal impediment.
