By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner wants to quash the F.I.R. No.0057 of 2025 dated 22.04.2025, under Sections 64 and 115(2) of B.N.S. 2023, Police Station Kotwali Pithoragarh, District Pithoragarh, on the basis of a compromise entered into between the parties. Compounding Application (IA No.1 of 2025) 5. Since allegation made in the F.I.R., which is a prompt one, is very serious of committing rape and causing injuries on the private part of the victim, this Court is not inclined to permit the parties to compound the matter. 6. Accordingly compounding application is rejected. WPCRL No.392 of 2025 7. Prima facie, from bare perusal of the F.I.R. it appears to be a heinous case, therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter. 8.
