JUSTICE VINOD CHATTERJI KOUL, JUDGE ORDER 11.08.2025 Bail App No. 215/2019 1. On 18.12.2019, while considering the petition filed by the petitioners seeking quashment of the FIR and also the bail application, this Court directed that investigation in the FIR shall continue, however, petitioner shall not be arrested. 2. It is stated by the learned counsels for the parties that the charge sheet has been filed. Learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner submits that since the petitioner has associated with the investigation, which now stands completed, and the charge sheet has been filed, there is no need for the petitioner to be taken into custody. It is, therefore, requested and prayed by the petitioner that the bail application may be allowed and the petitioner be admitted to bail. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent also submits that the petitioner has remained associated with the investigation of the case, the __________ charge sheet has been filed, and the charges have been framed. He further submits that there is no need to take the petitioner into custody, as he is facing trial and having regard to the fact that investigation in this case is complete, the charge sheet has been filed, and the petitioner is associating himself with the trial of the case. 4. This Court has already, vide order dated 18.12.2019, directed that the petitioner shall not be arrested. Therefore, having regard to what is stated above, this Court does not find any ground to reject the bail application filed by the petitioner. Accordingly, the application is allowed. 5. The petitioner shall, therefore, submit bail amount to the tune of Rs. 50,000/- to the satisfaction of the Presiding Officer of the Trial Court, and he shall undertake to remain present during the trial. 6.
