This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents in opening and continuation of Suspect Sheet/Rowdy Sheet against the petitioner and also calling the petitioner to the Police Station regularly without giving any notice, as illegal, arbitrary, violation of life and personal liberty and contrary to Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and also contrary to the Interim orders passed by this Honourable Court in lA No. 1 of 2022 in WA No. 674 of 2022 and consequently direct the respondents to close the Suspect Sheet/Rowdy Sheet which was opened against the petitioner and to pass”. 2. Heard Pilli Sundeep, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that initially a crime has been registered against the petitioner during general elections time, under Sections 323, 506, 324 r/w 34 IPC in Vuyyuru Rural Police Station, Krishna District. 4. In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the matter was compromised before the Lok Adalat dated 13.09.2025 and submitted a memo along with certified copy of Lok Adalat award. 5.
Recording the said submissions, and in view of the fact that there are no cases pending against the petitioner, the writ petition is allowed and the Rowdy Sheet opened against the petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
