Heard Sri Sudhanshu Narain, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, petitioner seeks a writ in the nature of mandamus to command respondent no.2 to decide the claim of the petitioner qua post retirement dues as upon his retirement on 29.02.2024 from the respondent-medical college while working as Junior Assistant petitioner has not been paid General Provident Fund and Group Insurance Scheme whereas other dues like gratuity, pension etc. have remained unpaid. 3. Learned Standing Counsel for the State submits that the petitioner may be directed to make representation afresh which may further be directed to be decided in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the petitioner to make representation regarding his claim within a period of four weeks from today before the competent authority which shall be looked into and considered and shall also be decided as expeditiously as possible preferably within a further period of two months. 5. In the event the competent respondent authority find the petitioner's claim for unpaid post retirement dues to be fruitful and genuine, same shall be released in his favour within a further period of six weeks.
