The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 12 of 2023 arising out of Arki P.S. Case No. 03 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 250 of 2023 (s), for the offences registered under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of the Prohibition of Witch Craft Practices Act, pending in the Court of learned District Additional Sessions Judge-I, Khunti. 3. During the intervening night of 05/06.01.2022, accused persons abducted the parents of the Informant and after five days, their dead bodies were recovered from a place near Haradalama Forest Area. 4. Genesis of the occurrence is that the accused persons use to allege that the parents of the Informant practiced witchcraft. They were abducted and murdered by the accused persons. 5. There is specific allegation against the petitioner that he had abducted the parents of the Informant and thereafter, they were murdered. The Bail Application of co-accused was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 901 of 2024 by order dated 14.03.2024. 6.
