The petitioner in the instant contempt petition has alleged non compliance of judgment and order dated 12.11.2013, whereby the respondents (Competent Authority) came to be directed to reconsider the case of the petitioner for allotting panel year 2004 to his promotion as Manager (Quality Control). 3. A compliance report has been filed by the respondents accompanied with order dated 01.10.2024 which reads as under:- “in compliance to Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir order dated 12.11.2013 in SWP No. 447/2009, Deepak Raj Arora, Ex- Manager (2C) D.O.B 02.04.1953, ZS No.428, J&K Region is hereby deemed promoted to the post of Manager (QC) against the panel year 2004 instead of panel year 2005 with immediate effect in the pay scale of manager applicable to him.” Serial No. 9 2 CPSW No. 45/2014 in SWP No. 447/2011 4. Having regard to the compliance report and the aforesaid order attached thereto, seemingly the respondents/contemnors have complied with the judgment and order dated 12.11.2013. 5. Accordingly, contempt notice issued is recalled and proceedings are closed, however, with liberty to the petitioner to seek revival of the contempt petition within four weeks’ from today in case the petitioner is dissatisfied with the compliance report and the order supra. 6. Disposed of.
