JUSTICE M.I.ARUN ORAL ORDER 1. The petitioners are said to be the owners of the properties which are the subject matter of the writ petition. They have requested for issuance of 'E' Katha in respect of their properties. However, the second respondent has rejected the same on the ground that the matter is seized by this Court in W.P.No.3248/2020 and an endorsement dated 04.12.2021 (vide Annexure-'A' to the writ petition) is issued in this regard. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed with a prayer to set aside the impugned endorsement and direct respondent No.2 to consider the request of the petitioner in accordance with law. 2. During the course of the proceedings, it is submitted that W.P.No.3248/2020 has been disposed of by an order dated 06.02.2025 and it is further submitted that writ petition does not pertain to the properties which are the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:32245 WP No. 7069 of 2022 subject matter of the writ petition. Perusal of the order passed in W.P.No.3248/2020 reveals that it has got nothing to do with the properties which are the subject matter of the writ petition. Hence, it has to be construed that the impugned endorsement has been issued erroneously. 3. For the aforementioned reasons, the impugned endorsement dated 04.12.2021 issued by respondent No.2 vide Annexure-'A' to the writ petition is hereby set aside. 4. A direction is issued to respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders regarding issuance of 'E' Katha within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5.
