Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:83131 Court No. - 7 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 15893 of 2025 Petitioner :- Kailash Singh @ Ramkalesh Singh And 9 Others Respondent :- State Of Up And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Rajesh Kumar Shukla Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Sanjay Kumar Mishra Hon'ble Jayant Banerji,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. This petition has been filed seeking a direction to decide the Appeal No. 28A, Computer Serial No.C202515000000612 (Kailash Singh @ Ramkalesh Singh vs. Prescribed Authority/Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Sagadi, District Azamgarh & Ors.) filed under the provisions of Section 25(1)(d) of the Societies Registration Act, 1860 pending before the Commissioner, Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh. 3. The appeal appears to have been filed on 17.3.2025 and on 28.3.2025, the matter has been adjourned to 25.4.2025. The order- sheet of 25.4.2025 is not on record. 4. Be that as it may, in the opinion of the Court, for seeking such a direction, as prayed for in the instant petition, the petitioners have to substantiate that the matter has been pending for inordinately long period of time without any adjudication. 5. Under the circumstances, the Court does not deem it fit to pass any such order directing the Commissioner to take a decision within a time bound period. 6. However, the Court has no reason to doubt that the respondent no.2 would deal with the aforesaid appeal as well as the other appeals pending before him, in due course. 7. This petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Order Date :- 19.5.2025 SK (Jayant Banerji, J.) Digitally signed by :- SUSHEEL KUMAR High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
