LAKSHMANA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 10784/2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition has been filed under Sections 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNSS’), seeking to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner/Accused in Crime.No.98 of 2025 of Molakalacheruvu Police Station, Annamayya District, registered against the petitioner/Accused herein for the offences punishable under Section 34(a), 34(e) of Andhra Pradesh Excise Act read with Section 7(B) & 8(A), 8(B) & 8(C) of the Andhra Pradesh Prohibition Act, 1995. 2. Heard Sri V.Sai Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the respondent. Perused the record. 3. Without going into the merits of the matter, learned Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner was not shown as accused in the crime in question. He also submits that the petitioner has filed a withdrawal petition before this Court vide Crl.P.No.10921 of 2025 and the same was disposed of on 17.10.2025. 4. Since the petitioner is not arrayed as accused in the crime in question, the apprehension that the petitioner is going to be arrested to not correct. There are no merits in this Criminal Petition. 5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. _________________________ DR. Y.
