GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in opening and continuing rowdy sheets against us and paying domiciliary visits to our house asking repeatedly to appear before them as illegal, irregular without jurisdiction and violative of provisions of Andhra Pradesh Police Standing Orders and offends articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently, quash the rowdy sheet in R.A.Valasa police station and not to interfere with our liberty in any manner in the interest of justice and pass… ” 2. Heard Sri Sapthagiri Metta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, the cases registered against the Petitioner were ended in acquittal and no cases are pending against him. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioner. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity, Rowdy sheet was opened against the Petitioner. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and Rowdy Sheet opened against the petitioner in R.A.Valasa Police Station is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
