The petitioner claims that he has not been given the benefit of commutation of pension and his medical bills have not been reimbursed. Shri Sahab Tiwari, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 to 4 submits that the petitioner has not completed the necessary documentation and processual formalities availing commutation of pension. He, however, fairly contends that the aforesaid benefits have to be determined by the competent authority in light of applicable provisions of law in a reasonable period of time. In wake of the aforesaid submissions, the matter is remitted to the respondent no.3 with the following directions: I. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent no. 3 for completion of the necessary formalities/documentation on 02.07.2025. II. The respondent no. 3 shall provide all required support to the petitioner and ensure that the formalities and documentations are completed with promptitude. III. The petitioner shall make separate representations for commutation of pension and medical reimbursement respectively. IV. The aforesaid representations shall be decided within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
