GP FOR SERVICES I The Court made the following: :: ORDER :: The above writ petition has been filed to declare the action of respondent No.4 in not considering the representations dated 20.08.2025 & 06.09.2025 made by the petitioner regarding the disbursement of funeral expenses and death benefits of the petitioner’s deceased husband, died on 26.07.2025 in harness, while working in the office of respondent No.4, as illegal and arbitrary. Page 3 of 4 2. Heard Sri J.V. Phaniduth, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Raju, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services appeared for the respondents. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for admission, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents would submit that the death benefits of the deceased employee by name Sri Shiku Venkatewara Rao, were released including pension. Learned counsel would also submit that funeral charges have been sanctioned through departmental proceedings dated 21.10.2025 under Token No.2025-1723978 and the same is yet to be credited. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the death benefits will be credited to the petitioner’s account within four (04) weeks. The same is recorded. 5. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission, with the consent of both the learned counsel, directing respondent No.4 to credit the death benefits to the petitioner’s account, within four (04) weeks. No order as to costs.
